We give stores a TrulyShare branded tag with their logo and a QR code specific to a product in the store. The store puts the code on display, on a receipt, or in a package. As a shopper, when you see the tag in any store or on any product, scan it to go to the TrulyShare page. There, you will have a consistent experience as you share the professional photo of the product with your social networks.
Now the store knows you like their product and can reward you. What you share is automatically posted to their social networks, so their followers will see it too. Now we know where you are, your Facebook profile, and your purchase intent. We see a huge potential for this data.
We do this so that people only ask questions that they think are good. Also, the point of demo day is to bring attention to great founders. This rewards the founders you are interested in by sharing with your followers.
When a question is asked, it gets ranked based on the number of followers of the asker. After a question is asked (and before it is answered) other people can support the question (re-tweet it).
When a question is "supported", that question is seen by their followers and therefore gets added to the sum of followers who have seen it. That will re-rank the question and move it up in the queue so that it gets answered sooner.
